Just a quick note...
If you haven't been in since my Nashville trip, I think you will find quite a few additions to our inventory. As a matter of fact I am still getting in some of the items.
Heart in Hand has a limited addition frame (pink crinkle) and a kit called Spring Fling. I am only able to order these through March 31. I have 2 sets on hand so if you are interested please call or email info@stitches-heart.com so we can make sure you don't miss out.
Just Nan has added us to their limited edition kits and frames. We receive them monthly and when they are gone we cannot get anymore. Their website is www.justnan.com. If you see one you want I am happy to keep one back for you.
Our biggest news is our new monthly program. The chart is free each month and you can download it from Rainbow Gallery www.rainbowgallery.com under their Free Charts or stop at the store and we will give you a copy. It is the 2006 Cross Stitcher's Surprise Series by Erica Michaels. Based on the alphabet and continuing through 2007, each design has motifs, letters, its own unique border and a specialty stitch for a real sampler look. The designs can be done in Splendor or other specialty threads. Erica Michael's website (www.ericamichaels.com/free.html) also has directions to make this into a book that is adorable. Jennifer is frantically stitching the store model so you can see this in person. We are making ours into the book but the finishing instructions will not be available until 2007.
We are also checking to see if there is an interest in us kitting the threads monthly to help save on the cost of the threads. Or you could get a group of you together and buy the threads and form your own group. If you are interested in the store kitting the threads we will be able to put a cost together after our models are stitched. We also are considering this monthly as a class (no fee except the materials) at our stitch-ins if there is an interest.
We have also added Six Strands Sweet, Kreinik's Silk Mori, Thread Gatherers Sea Grass, Wild Hairs and Woolies, and Needlepoint Silk to our thread line.
Even though our trunk show for Jody's Designs is over we kept quite a few of her ornaments on hand for you.
