It is not too late to sign up for Pat Mazu's "Spring Leaf Stocking Class". The class will be on Saturday May 6, 2:00 to 4:00. Attached is a picture of the adorable stocking. The class fee is $20 and includes the canvas and stitching pattern. Please come early if you need to purchase threads or other supplies. If you have never taken a class from Pat you are in for a treat. She has such a wealth of knowledge and always shares little tips to help your stitching.

If you haven't been in the shop lately we are continuing to get items from the online needlework store event for shops last week. We have the floss away bags and boxes in stock now. We have received the darling Fern Ridge Collection items which are also featured in the Needlearts catalog I received in the mail yesterday. The new Hoffman order is due in today or tomorrow. This should be in the shop on Saturday.
If there are any special threads you need please call the store. I am placing special orders this weekend and would like to include those. Remember we now have the full line of Anchor, DMC, Burmilana, Medici, Six Strand Sweets, Crescent Colours, Weeks, Sampler Threads, Rainbow Gallery (too many to mention), Waterlillies, Watercolors, Wildflowers, Kreinik, Sprinkles, Au Ver A Soie, Impressions, Needle Necessities, Many Thread Gathers lines, Ribbon Floss, Trebizond, Accentuate, Needlepoint Inc Silks and Kreinik Silk Mori. I am looking to add one more thread line in the next month -- is there one you would like?
Hopefully our website will be up and running shortly. We will feature many of our lines of threads, linens, and designs so our out of town stitchers can also see what is going on at the store.
Also I have some exciting news -- My sister (Sandy) and I are now the exclusive wholesale distributors for Jean Hilton Designs. We will also carry the full line of her designs in our store and will be available on the internet to anyone who does not have access to her designs. Please pass this information on to any of your stitching friends that may be interested in her designs or have contacts with other retail stores that may want her designs. If you have never seen her designs, they are wonderful! Over the next few months we are going to feature several of her freebie designs as pass outs that she has done for Rainbow Galleries to give you a feel for her style. These designs can be small ornaments, framed or made into pillows. She is a pioneer in her counted needlepoint work and many designers have used the Hilton Stitches in their work.
Thanks for your time and keep stitching!
