Greetings!!!!!

I'm not sure where to start... We have had soooo many new designs coming into the store in the past month. We have 3 new baskets now. The 2 new annual ornament kits (Santa and Sampler) from Homespun Elegance are in www.homespunelegance.com/new_products.html. Blue Ribbon Designs has wonderful new patterns -- check them out! www.blueribbondesigns.com. Just Nan has their new 12 Days of Christmas Whimzi with the coordinated frames, new little Halloween designs, Another Girls Night Out. www.justnan.com/whatsnew.htm. Please note a few of the items that are marked "Sold Out" are still currently available at the shop. If you would like any of these please contact us as soon as possible so we can put these back for you.

Our Punch Needle designs have tripled in the past few weeks. We are running out of room! Also we just got a huge shipment (both cross stitch and punch needle) from Pine Mountain Designs: www.pinemtndesigns.com/p_products.asp?nd=1. Many are full kits that work up really fast for gifts or holiday decorations.

I am going to place an order from Victoria Sampler within the next few weeks. I am only placing an order about three times a year due to their very high international shipping charges. Please review their website and if you would like anything please email me as soon as possible and I will be happy to include it in my order. www.victoriasampler.com/Catalog/index.asp.

Our needlepoint canvas selection is growing slowly. I have added Mary Lake Thompson, Raymond Crawford, Patti Mann, Just Libby, Amy Bunger, Janet Burnett, Lizzie Kate, Melissa Shirley, Rebecca Wood. We are going to start a Heart ornament club after the first of the year. If you would like to join this group please let me know so I can order the canvases! Kathy Schenkel has a great Advent Tree with 25 ornaments -- I already have one for myself -- and would like to do this as a monthly group starting in November.

I happened upon two great reference for how to do different stiches. inaminuteago.com/stitchindex.html and www.classicstitches.com/know_how/index.cfm?cat=Stitch%20Glossary&let=A I would love to start a notebook class if anyone is interested in this. Rainbow Gallery has one that would be fun and easy to do. Also there is a great finishing blog to check out: lhfinishingschool.wordpress.com

Please pass the word around about our threads!. I am happy to ship orders to anywhere that the threads are not available. We now have full lines of Soy Luster, Needlepoint Silk Inc, Kreinik Silk Mori and #4 through #32 and Blending Filament, Au Ver A Soie, Accentuate, Trebizond Twisted Silk Thread, Silk and Ivory, Watercolours, Waterlilies, Wildflowers, Impressions, Burmilana, Cresent, Weeks Dye Works, Medici Wool, Olde Willow, Sampler Threads, Six Strand Sweets, Silk and Ivory, Trio, most of Rainbow Gallery threads, Anchor, DMC, many pearls, Ribbon Floss, Spark Organdy, Sprinkles, Ultra Sprinkles, many Needle Necessities, several Thread Gathers lines... The speciality threads are my passion and I would like to keep adding to these. Down the road I would like to pick up many more. I am always willing to order threads for you but please keep in mind I have minimum requirements so it may take a little time to get orders in.

Also help for your weary, aging eyes. www.mageyes.com. I feel like a commercial for Mageyes when someone comes into the store but I truly believe in their product. I think I would have quit stitching a few years ago if it was not for starting to use their magnifier. My Dazor at home is wonderful but I can't take it everywhere. Stop by the store and try these. We have a sample that you can sit and stitch with. Also don't forget about the new floor and lap frames we have.

Our Jean Hilton Sampler group is going to start soon. We have a couple of stitchers already signed up but there is room for more!

Don't forget to order your Jean Hilton Designs directly from our store. We have the exclusive wholesale distribution rights to Jean's timeless patterns. Check out our website for her patterns. We are adding more pictures as they are available. www.stitches-heart.com

We are starting Stitching, Punch Needle, and chatting groups every Thursday evening. Stop by after work or after a long day with the kids or dogs... We will start around 5:00 or 6:00. If no one comes by 7:00 we will call it an evening but if someone is there we will stitch until you are ready to go home. I am always looking for a reason to get to stitch at the shop. If no one is there I feel like I need to catch up on book work instead. Please save me from this!! I do it all day long too! Also please feel free to bring your own stitching club into the store. Just call us ahead of time if you would like to meet at the store. We like having groups in to chat and stitch.

Pat Mazu is teaching another of her original counted thread designs for her little stockings. This one is a trio of designs that you will be allowed to choose from. See attachments. If you have not had a class from Pat you are missing a real treat. Stop by the store and see her new designs that we are carrying called Leaves #1 and #2. These are from an earlier class she did for us. She has also given us a Halloween stocking that is a freebie to pass out this fall. She is a very talented designer that we have right here in town. She is teaching in Washington DC, Tucson and Austin in the next year to just mention a few places.

Jennifer is also preparing for more Punch Needle classes. If you are interested please call the shop and give us your name or email address and she will contact you for a class time convenient with your schedule. We have already had 3 classes and the students have had a great time.

Rebeeca is still available for our beginning cross stitch class the last Friday of every month. If you would like to sign up please call us. If this is not a good time other arrangements can be made.

Susie is still ready to teach Beginning Needlepoint classes. Just call to arrange.

On my trip to Indy for the TNNA market I received quite a few of the Town Square designs from various designers. I wasn't quite sure how to get these designs out to everyone in a relatively low cost so I decided to have them scanned and have attached them to this email. Some of the designs are a little fuzzy but my originals were not the best either. If you have any problems let me know and I can get you a "real" copy of the ones you are interested in. Hope you enjoy these. There may be some more later if you are interested.

(Download Town Square designs -- 1.3 MB PDF)

Also copy and paste to your web browser the following new free graph from Blue Ribbon Designs. www.blueribbondesigns.com/blue_ribbon_freebie.htm. We carry their full line of cross stitch patterns. I am just itching to do the new patriotic patterns (along with 50 other new designs that have recently come into the store)

Sorry to be so chatty on this newsletter but it has been a while since I have sat down long enough to write this. My son is now officially at IU and that has been keeping me busy along with a few other hundred things.

Thanks for your time!! Hope to see you soon!!

Susie, Jennifer, Jane, Karen, and Rebecca
